Warrioress

Some of you know I am participating in a 9 month program called “Art as Soul Language”. It is challenging and unique. I have training in expressive arts therapy and this honors the same assumptions…that who we are can be accessed in our creations….that our intuitive “knowing” can empower our art.

Right now we are exploring through archetypes the power of our artistic work. The archetypes are Mother, Lover, Warrioress and Priestess. (This is a women’s program!) I have discovered I operate frequently as a Warrioress….mission driven, focussed, purposeful.

This week I will be exploring through brief paintings how this warrior perspective will make peace with my 2023 goal of “Grace!”

This is a course requiring courage and I have been experiencing an amazing group of 6 women who create safety and support through the vulnerability one experiences in this deep self-work.
